The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has officially declared the much-awaited Combined Defence Services (CDS) I Examination 2025 final result. A total of 365 candidates have successfully qualified for admission to the Indian Military Academy, Indian Naval Academy, Air Force Academy, and Officers Training Academy.

Candidates who appeared for the UPSC CDS I examination can now verify their results by visiting the official website at http://upsc.gov.in. The result has been released in PDF format containing the roll numbers of all successful candidates.

Follow these simple steps:

  2. Navigate to the ‘What’s New’ section on the homepage
  3. Click on the CDS I Final Result 2025 link
  4. Download the PDF merit list
  5. Use Ctrl+F to search your roll number quickly

 

 

Selection Process Details

The UPSC CDS I selection process consists of a written examination followed by an interview conducted by the Services Selection Board (SSB). Only candidates who successfully clear both stages make it to the final merit list. The 365 qualified candidates will now proceed to their respective training academies based on their preferences and merit ranking.

 

 

Academy-Wise Distribution

The successful candidates will be allocated to four premier defence training institutions – the Indian Military Academy (IMA) in Dehradun, Indian Naval Academy (INA) in Ezhimala, Air Force Academy (AFA) in Hyderabad, and Officers Training Academy (OTA) in Chennai.
