Vinfast VF MPV 7 Launched in India at ₹24.49 Lakh

Shaking up the Indian electric vehicle landscape, Vietnamese EV giant VinFast has officially launched its highly anticipated seven-seater, the VinFast VF mpv 7. Priced at an aggressive Rs 24.49 lakh (ex-showroom), this all-electric MPV is designed to cater to the growing demand for sustainable family mobility in India.

The launch, which took place today, April 15, 2026, marks VinFast’s third major entry into the Indian market, following the success of the VF 6 and VF 7 SUVs.

A Design Focused on the “Golden Ratio”

The VinFast VF mpv 7 isn’t just another boxy van. It adopts what the company calls “golden ratio” proportions, pushing the 19-inch aero-optimized alloy wheels to the corners to maximize cabin length. Measuring 4,740 mm in length with a massive 2,840 mm wheelbase, it offers a “theatre-style” seating arrangement that ensures even third-row passengers enjoy a comfortable journey.

The exterior features the brand’s signature V-shaped LED light bars at both the front and rear, giving it a futuristic and premium road presence.

Range and Performance: 517 km on a Single Charge

Under the floor lies a 60.13 kWh lithium-ion battery pack that delivers an impressive ARAI-certified range of 517 km. For those worried about charging times, the VF mpv 7 supports 80 kW DC fast charging, capable of juicing the battery from 10% to 70% in just 30 minutes.

The front-wheel-drive motor produces 204 hp (150 kW) and 280 Nm of torque, allowing this family hauler to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in under 9 seconds.

Step inside, and you are greeted by a minimalist, driver-centric dashboard. The highlight is a 10.1-inch (25.65 cm) free-standing touchscreen that handles everything from navigation to climate control.

Industry-First Warranty and Ownership

To win over skeptical buyers, VinFast is offering an industry-leading 10-year battery warranty and a 7-year vehicle warranty. Additionally, the company has announced a Rs 2 lakh exchange bonus for those switching from petrol or diesel cars and free public charging across its V-Green network until March 2029.

With its blend of space, range, and aggressive pricing, the VinFast VF mpv 7 is set to give serious competition to the likes of the BYD eMax 7 and the upcoming Kia Carens EV.
