₹2.5 Lakh Game-Changer: TVS RTX 300 Launches October 15 to Shake Up India's Adventure Bike Segment

TVS Motor Company is set to make a historic entry into India’s rapidly growing adventure motorcycle segment with the launch of its first-ever ADV bike, the TVS RTX 300, on October 15, 2025. Expected to be priced around ₹2.50 lakh (ex-showroom), the new offering could redefine value in the mid-capacity adventure touring space.

TVS’s Bold Adventure Debut

The TVS RTX 300 marks a significant milestone for the Chennai-based manufacturer as it ventures into uncharted territory.

Designed to compete directly with established players like the KTM 250 Adventure and Royal Enfield Himalayan 450, the RTX 300 promises to bring TVS’s racing DNA and engineering expertise to the adventure touring segment.

Power-Packed Performance

At the heart of the TVS RTX 300 lies an all-new 299cc liquid-cooled RT-XD4 engine, specifically developed for this motorcycle.

The powerplant churns out an impressive 35 bhp and 28.5 Nm of peak torque, making it one of the most powerful offerings in its price bracket.

This performance-oriented motor is expected to deliver a healthy balance between highway touring capabilities and city commuting efficiency.

Premium Features at Accessible Price

The TVS RTX 300 doesn’t compromise on features despite its competitive pricing.

The adventure tourer comes equipped with USD telescopic front forks finished in gold, mono-shock rear suspension, and 19-inch front with 17-inch rear alloy wheels wrapped in dual-sport tyres.

The bike also features a modern 5-inch TFT instrument console with smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, and call and SMS alerts.

Safety hasn’t been overlooked either. The motorcycle is expected to pack switchable dual-channel ABS, traction control system, multiple ride modes, quickshifter, and ride-by-wire throttle—features typically reserved for premium adventure bikes.

Design Philosophy

The RTX 300 sports a purposeful adventure-ready design with a semi-fairing, large windscreen, substantial fuel tank, and split seats for long-distance comfort.

A distinctive beak-like front fender gives it an authentic ADV character, while all-LED lighting adds a contemporary touch.

Optional touring accessories including panniers, knuckle guards, and a taller windscreen will be available for riders looking to customize their machines.

Market Impact

With its aggressive pricing strategy and comprehensive feature list, the TVS RTX 300 could significantly disrupt India’s adventure motorcycle market.

The segment has witnessed explosive growth in recent years, with more Indian riders seeking versatile machines capable of handling everything from daily commutes to weekend highway runs and occasional off-road adventures.

Industry experts believe TVS’s entry could democratize adventure touring in India, making it accessible to a broader audience of enthusiasts who previously found premium ADV bikes financially out of reach.

The October 15 launch will reveal complete specifications, final pricing, and availability details. If TVS manages to deliver on its promises, the RTX 300 could emerge as the go-to choice for adventure riding aspirants across India and beyond.
