Bengaluru-based EV startup Oben Electric has officially expanded its lineup with the launch of the RorrEvo, a performance-oriented electric motorcycle designed to disrupt the urban commuting segment. Debuting with a sharp, aggressive streetfighter aesthetic, the RorrEvo combines high-speed performance with segment-leading battery safety and smart AI integration.
Aggressive Pricing and Bookings
Oben Electric has introduced the RorrEvo at a highly competitive introductory price of ₹99,999 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This special pricing is reserved for the first 10,000 customers, after which the price will revert to the standard ₹1,24,999.
Enthusiasts can secure the motorcycle by paying a fully refundable booking amount of ₹777. According to official reports, test rides and deliveries are scheduled to commence in June 2026 across Oben’s expanding network of 150 showrooms nationwide.
Performance: Speed Meets Efficiency
The RorrEvo is powered by a proprietary 9 kW IPMSM motor that delivers a staggering 250 Nm of wheel torque. This allows the bike to sprint from 0 to 40 kmph in just 3 seconds, reaching a top speed of 110 kmph.
One of the standout technical shifts is the move to a single-stage chain drive system, a first for Oben, which the company claims provides better durability and a more engaging “motorcycle feel.” Riders can choose from four distinct modes:
- Eco & City: Optimized for urban efficiency (Top speed 60 kmph).
- Havoc: For maximum performance.
- SmartIQ: A new AI-driven mode that learns the rider’s style to optimize range by up to 15%.

Range and Battery Tech
Equipped with a 3.4 kWh LFP (Lithium Iron Phosphate) battery, the RorrEvo offers a certified IDC range of 180 km on a single charge. The LFP chemistry is specifically chosen for its superior heat resistance and longevity in Indian climates, backed by an impressive 8-year battery warranty.
With the Oben Plug fast charger, the motorcycle can juice up from 0 to 80% in 90 minutes.
Features and Practicality
The RorrEvo isn’t just about speed; it’s built for the daily grind. It features a first-in-segment 10-litre storage capacity (split between the tank area and under-seat) and dual USB charging ports.
- Connectivity: A 5-inch color TFT display offers turn-by-turn navigation, music controls, and smartphone alerts.
- Safety: Features like Fall Alert with Emergency Assist, Unified Brake Assist (UBA), and a Driver Alert System (DAS) come standard.
- Dimensions: It boasts a 200 mm ground clearance and a 230 mm water-wading capacity, making it “monsoon-ready.”
The RorrEvo is available in four vibrant colors: Pulse Red, Neutron Blue, Magnetic Black, and Photon White.
